The Roslyn Presents… Music Education Workshop is an annual initiative designed to inspire and empower students in grades 7–12 by celebrating the transformative contributions of Black artists to music, culture, and society.

Led by Ms. Roslyn Pratt, internationally acclaimed recording artist and proud Canton native, this program is presented in partnership with Community Arts Experience, Inc. (CAE). Together, we integrate education, creativity, and mentorship to cultivate the next generation of leaders, creators, and innovators.

What Students Experience

+ Educational Excellence – Aligned with Ohio Educational Standards, blending Social Studies, Fine Arts, and Social-Emotional Learning.
+ Creative Expression – Hands-on projects in songwriting, visual art, and performance guided by professional mentors.

Tribute Concert Finale

The workshop concludes with a powerful Tribute Concert—a community celebration that honors the featured artist while spotlighting student achievements. This signature event unites generations, uplifts cultural representation, and creates an unforgettable platform for emerging talent.
